Reusable Silicone Food Storage Bags (Set of 6)

Six leakproof silicone bags that do the job of disposable zip bags, then go in the dishwasher and come back for the next round. Useful for marinating, freezing portions, packing lunches and sous-vide cooking.

Care and cleaning

Dishwasher safe on the top rack, or turn the bag inside out and hand wash. Let them dry fully open and upside down before storing — moisture trapped in a sealed silicone bag is what causes a musty smell. Strong spices, tomato and turmeric can leave a faint tint or odour; a soak in warm water with baking soda, or an hour in direct sun, clears most of it.

Tip

When freezing liquids, leave about 2 cm of headroom and press the air out before sealing. Overfilled bags push the seal open as the contents expand.
